2nd Kilsyth Girls' Brigade
Meetings
The Girls' Brigade meets on a Tuesday from the end of August to May in the Kilsyth & District Parish Church hall.
The Company is currently on holiday for the summer and will recommence in the autumn. Dates will be published here on the website when available. New members are always welcome.
Age Groups and Activities
The local company is divided into three age groups:
- Explorers (P1-3)
- Juniors (P4-7)
- Brigaders (S1-6)
Leaders: All adult leaders are thoroughly vetted (Disclosure/PVG checks) and trained to ensure a safe, caring environment.
Motto and Values
- The Brigade acknowledges Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord according to the Scriptures and seeks to fulfil its aim to the glory of one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- The Brigade witnesses to the standard set by Jesus Christ and gives positive teaching on the Christian attitude to life.
- The Brigade promotes a just society where all people are equally valued.
